Chiara Colombi

Chiara Colombi, PhD is a Fashion Designer and Associate Professor at Design dept. and Faculty Member in the Fashion Design programs at Design School ‐ Politecnico di Milano. She has 12 years’ experience in education, research and professional consultancy in the fashion design field with a main professional focus on trend research methods, product-‐system development and merchandising and retailing, with a specific focus on the fashion sector. Her experiences cover European research activities; field projects and consultancies for main fashion brands. Her research, teaching and professional experience is funded in the close relationship established with productive and professional entities. These connections aim to define research projects deemed to be relevant from an industrial, socio‐economic perspective and possible topics for various studios, workshops, research projects and grants. She has more recently specialized on the impact of digital technologies and social media both in research and consultancy activities.
