THE CHALLENGE
The make-take-dispose linear model that has developed over the last two decades has caused a huge amount of clothing waste. Multiple outfits are regularly purchased and only worn once, and there is little thought put into the sustainability of purchasing habits. One of the possible ways to address this challenge is to leverage on extending the lifetime of unworn pieces.
THE SOLUTION
Our Closet (OC) is a peer-to-peer luxury fashion rental marketplace, tapping into a a circular/sharing economy model, empowering women by allowing them to monetise their wardrobe and extend the lifetime of their closet. OC takes care of the whole process: from collection, listing, storage, delivery, cleaning and minor repairs.
