• Who is collecting the data?

London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London (UAL), based in the UK. We’re one of the DeFINE consortium partner organisations and our co-funder is the European Union.

• What data is being collected?

Your full name, email address, job title and company.

• What is the legal basis for processing the data?

For the delivery of the contract we have in place with you through attending the DeFINE project Info Day.

• Will the data be shared with any third parties?

London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, will have access to your data for the processing of your application and for project reporting.

Eventbrite’s representative for European data protection law purposes is Eventbrite NL B.V. with its principal place of business at Silodam 402, 1013AW, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

For the management of events and project reporting purposes we may also share your data with the DeFINE consortium partner organisations and our co-funder, the European Union.

You are required to check-in at Google campus, please see further details below.

• How will the information be used?

We will only use your data for the management of the DeFINE project – to process your application to the Info Day, to contact you about the Info Day, to report on your participation, and we may also contact you to take part in an evaluation survey if you take part in the Info Day.

We won’t share your data with any third parties not mentioned in this notice.

We will store your data in Eventbrite Inc and UAL’s private internal servers.

• How long will the data be stored for?

In accordance with our funder’s reporting requirements, we will store your data for five years after the end of the project (until 30 June 2026).

• What rights do I have?

You have the right to change your mind about us storing and processing your data at any time. Simply get in touch with contact@define-network.eu and we’ll delete your details from our own files and Eventbrite.

• How can the data subject raise a complaint?

• Why am I required to check-in for events at Campus?

Google’s goal at Campus is to offer high quality, free events that fit the needs of our community. Event check-in is used to understand who is attending our events so they can ensure that they are offering the best events for their community.

• What is Google doing with my data?

The information you provide when checking into events at Campus will be used to help Google track the demographics and interests of their event attendees and track engagement with Campus activities. Google may share aggregated information with the event host, but will not share any identifying information (though if you registered for an event directly with a host, they may have their own record of attendees). Google are also in compliance with GDPR regulations. If you would like your data removed from Google’s system at any point in the future please email your request to privacy@campus.co and they will remove it.

• What happens to my feedback response from Google?

At Campus, they use the feedback you provide to help curate their community events – ensuring they are bringing you the best content and event hosts for future events. We also provide this feedback to the event host in aggregate so they know how to improve their events. We will never share any identifying information about you with event hosts.
